The Life of the Lord Jesus can be summed up by four great events: His Birth, His Resurrection, His Ascension and His Second Coming.

When His earthly work was done He entered the heavens to prepare a place for us and to do His work of High-Priestly intercession.

After Ascension we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church.

 

THURSDAY 1ST

Acts 1:9-11
The account of the Ascension.

FRIDAY 2ND

Psalm 68:1-20
Note verse 18:  Christ is the conquering King.

SATURDAY 3RD

Psalm 110
Christ is honoured by the Father.

SUNDAY 4TH

Luke 9:51
The Ascension was in God’s plan and Jesus prophesied it.

MONDAY 5TH

Acts 1:3
Note how the Lord Jesus delayed his return to heaven so that He could minister to the disciples.
